About Peace Corps Prep

The purpose of the Peace Corps Prep Program is to start preparing students interested in serving in the Peace Corps or the international services. The Peace Corps Prep Program is a partnership between the Peace Corps and a number of universities and offers a lifetime of opportunity for global leadership and intercultural communication skills.

Programs included in the Peace Corps Prep Program are community service projects, opportunities to study abroad, courses in international studies, education, and foreign language classes. The Peace Corps Prep Program does not guarantee admission into the Peace Corps, but being part of the program makes students strong competitive candidates for volunteer acceptance in the future.
